The Tradition of the Campdraft: Skill on the Rails

Campdrafting is an iconic Australian sport that requires a unique blend of agility, strategy, and expert horsemanship. At the Rhythm & Ride Campdraft, we celebrate this tradition by bringing generations of riders together to share the reins.

In this event, a rider must "cut out" a beast from the mob and guide it through a set course in the arena. It is a true test of a rider's ability to "read" cattle and a horse’s ability to respond to the slightest command. Whether you are a seasoned drover or a first-time spectator, the skill on display at the Broome Rodeo Grounds will leave you in awe
